A 2026. február 3-án 10 órától megrendezett Orientációs napon a TÓK-ra érkező új nemzetközi hallgatókat már az érkezéskor egy egyetemi ajándékcsomaggal fogadtuk, amely praktikus információkat is tartalmazott a félévkezdéshez. A rendezvénynek a kar közösségi tere adott otthont, ahol már a kezdetektől barátságos légkör alakult ki. A hallgatók mosollyal az arcukon és kíváncsian érkeztek, készen arra az új kalandra, amely tanulmányaik során itt vár rájuk.
Az idei évben új formátumban valósult meg az orientációs program: a hagyományos előadások helyett egy interaktív információs vásár jellegű eseményt szerveztünk, Romanoczki Ildikó, a Nemzetközi Iroda vezetőjének koordinálásával. A program elején Ildikó bemutatta az iroda további munkatársait és a Hallgatói Önkormányzat jelenlévő tagjait, majd egy átfogó képet kaptak a hallgatók az előttük álló félévről. Ezután a Hallgatói Önkormányzat külügyi elnöke, Barta Laura és csapata pezsdítette fel a hangulatot a jól ismert ELTE-s táncok bemutatásával, amelyhez az új hallgatók is örömmel csatlakoztak.
Ezt követően megnyílt az információs tér, ahol különböző standoknál lehetett kérdezni, tájékozódni és segítséget kérni – a hallgatók pedig éltek is ezzel a lehetőséggel. A standok között szerepelt a Neptun-jelszó létrehozása és az ELTE-s email-cím beállítása Temesi-Morvai Csilla koordinálásával, a kurzusokkal és órarenddel kapcsolatos tanácsadás Romanoczki Ildikó segítségével, az ESN-kártyával és diákigazolvánnyal kapcsolatos információk, valamint a Hallgatói Önkormányzat gyakorlati tudnivalói Budapestről, valamint a közösségi és szabadidős lehetőségekről. Az új, „kérdezz-felelek” jellegű forma rendkívül jól működött: a hallgatók standról standra járva beszélgettek, ismerkedtek, sok kérdés hangzott el, és hamar oldott hangulat alakult ki, amelyhez a teás és csokoládés stand is hozzájárult.
Különösen nagy sikert aratott a fenntarthatósági stand, ahol az előző félévben nálunk tanult Erasmus hallgatók hagytak mindennap hasznos tárgyakat a bejövő hallgatóknak. Megannyi eszköz talált új tulajdonosra, és a számos pozitív visszajelzések alapján ezt a kezdeményezést a jövőben is szeretnénk folytatni. Az esemény végén közös fotó is készült, amely méltó lezárása volt a napnak. Üdvözöljük az újonnan érkezett hallgatókat, és bízunk benne, hogy a TÓK-on eltöltött időszakuk tudásban és élményekben egyaránt gazdag lesz!
On 3 February 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m., the Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education (TÓK) hosted its Orientation Day for newly arriving international students. Upon arrival, students were welcomed with a university gift package containing practical information to support the start of the semester. The event took place in the faculty’s community space, where a friendly and welcoming atmosphere was established from the very beginning. Students arrived with smiles and curiosity, ready to embark on the new adventure awaiting them during their studies.
This year, the orientation programme was organised in a new format. Instead of traditional lectures, an interactive information fair was held, coordinated by Ildikó Romanoczki, Head of the International Office. At the beginning of the programme, Ms Romanoczki introduced the other members of the International Office as well as the attending representatives of the Student Union, after which students received an overview of the upcoming semester. This was followed by an energetic performance of the well-known ELTE dances by Laura Barta, Vice President for International Affairs of the Student Union, and her team, which the new students happily joined.
Afterwards, the information area opened, where students could visit various stands to ask questions, gather information and receive assistance. The stands provided support with setting up Neptun passwords and ELTE email accounts (coordinated by Csilla Temesi-Morvai), advice on courses and timetables (Ildikó Romanoczki), information about ESN cards and student IDs, as well as practical tips from the Student Union about living in Budapest and opportunities for community life and leisure activities. The new “Q&A-style” format proved to be highly successful: students moved from stand to stand, engaged in conversations, got to know one another, and asked numerous questions. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere quickly developed, to which the tea and chocolate stand also contributed.
The sustainability stand was particularly popular, offering everyday items left behind by Erasmus students from the previous semester to newly arriving students. Many items found new owners, and based on the positive feedback received, we plan to continue this initiative in the future. The event concluded with a group photo, providing a fitting end to the day. We warmly welcome our newly arrived students and wish them a rewarding and enriching time at TÓK, both academically and personally.
